After a life long passion for music, Nicky Genisis began DJ’ing in 2005 while living in San Diego, CA. Emerging from the west coast underground rave culture she bought her first pair of turntables and got to work. After countless hours spent in record stores and in love with mixing vinyl it was beyond a doubt that she had found her calling. Soon after, she found herself submersed in the LA and San Diego underground electronic music circuit.
The demand of her high- energy sets led to numerous performances at festivals & clubs all across the country. Endless devotion led her into the world of music production. She had her first release on Simplify Recordings in 2012 and quickly became their leading lady of electro house. Since then, she has released a collection of original tracks, free downloads, and remixed hits, pulling thousands of Soundcloud plays and a rapidly growing fan base in the social media realm.
Due to the popularity of her musical taste, she now hosts her monthly podcast & radio show on Di.FM radio called “Surge Radio”, taking her reach to a worldwide scale. She has been busy in the studio with chart topping releases on multiple labels including Monstercat Media, Simplify, Build It, Sony, EDM.com, Heavy Artillery Recordings and plenty more in the works.
With multiple channels of growing support from across the industry, the future shows to be very promising for this transcending producer.
